The story behind the name
He loved food more than anything.
And food was part of what took him.
My father had an extraordinary love for eating — it was one of the most joyful things about him. But his diabetes and the disease that ultimately took his life were intertwined with that love in a way no one helped him navigate.
I carry the same conditions. Diabetes. The BRCA2 mutation. I live every day in the intersection of loving food and needing food to be different. CaeDia is what I wish he'd had.
Food that says: you don't have to choose between pleasure and health.

"I built CaeDia so that the people who look like my father — who love food the way he did — would have something to eat that actually loves them back."
